Saturday, May 17 New World Felting returned to Lonsdale Quay Farmer's Market after a two-year absence. Good weather and a good crowd of local folks and tourists, the Quay is always a nice place to spend some time.
We were please by the interest in the product shown by the crowd. We have no doubt Lonsdale will prove to be an exciting place once summer rolls around.
Sunday, May 18 we returned to Steveston and what a great day. The weatherman was wrong and the day was warm and sunny with a nice breeze that always helps us display our scarves. Lots and lots of people saw our stuff for the first time and we had excellent sales from visiting tourists but even more important, local folks spent some time getting to know us and the word will spread.
We will both be making this week for sure. Cat caves for me and scarves plus another ART shawl for Jodi. Hope to see you all next week and Burnaby (Sat) and Ambleside (Sun) as we will have lots of new pieces.
