Hey folks,
Hope everyone is having a great summer so far! Jodi and I were at the Steveston market on Sunday and as is often the case with outdoor markets, the weather affects attendance and our success. Steveston is a six hour market; most are only five hours but because of the scattered showers for the first three hours, it didn't really get hopping until about 1:00 pm. The sun broke out for good around 2 and the next couple hours were busy, busy, busy. In fact, all the vendors said the same thing. So thanks to some new customers and a few old ones, we had a great day. Another of Jodi's Chevron Shawls was taken and our newest cat cave (beige and chocolate) went as well. Steveston is a fun market and very well organized when it comes to set-up, parking and break down. We'll be back there again on July 20.
Meanwhile next weekend will be a very busy one as we have Burnaby City Hall on Saturday and Whistler Village on Sunday. On the list of creations this week will be shawls and scarves.
Thank you for supporting us through May and June and we hope to see you again in July.
